TCU Horned Frogs (+2.5) @ Clemson Tigers (-2.5) (Over/Under 42.5)
(9/26/09 3:30 pm ET, ESPN360)
This game started off as a 2.5 spread for the Tigers, and it’s stayed that way all week. The bets are split between the home team Tigers and the 14th ranked Horned Frogs, just about 50/50. Both teams have played well early, as TCU is undefeated and Clemson’s only loss was by 3 at Georgia Tech in a fluky Thursday game.
Miami Hurricanes (-3) @ Virginia Tech Hokies (+3) (Over/Under 47.5)
(9/26/09 3:30 pm ET, ABC)
This is Week 4’s game of the week. 13th ranked Miami has climbed to a 3-point favorite on the road after the spread started the week even. 12th ranked Virginia Tech has beaten Miami 4 of the last 6 meetings, the Hurricanes won last season. The under is 5-1 over the last six. Miami has started their season with 2 ACC wins while Va Tech is 2-1, their loss coming against #3 Alabama.
Washington Huskies (+8) @ Stanford Cardinal (-8) (Over/Under 53)
(9/26/09 9:00 pm, FSNW)
After stunning college football last week by beating USC, the Huskies come into Stanford as an 8-point underdog. The books must be sniffing a let-down. Both teams are 2-1, but Stanford’s wins are against San Jose State and Washington State… Stanford has won 3 of the last 4 against WA. The under is 4-1 in the last five. Starting at 7, the line moved to 8 late this week. 53% of the bets take Stanford.
