Turkey Day features trio of NFL matchups
The annual Thanksgiving Day tradition of NFL Football action takes place Thursday with a trio of games.
It all starts with the Detroit Lions hosting NFC North rival Green Bay Packers (12:30 pm ET, FOX).
The Packers are 11-point favorites in NFL Betting at Legends.
The Packers have owned the Lions in recent matchups, going 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in the past 10. Green Bay shut out Detroit 26-0 in their last meeting on Oct. 18 at Lambeau Field.
Next up is the Oakland Raiders visiting the Dallas Cowboys (4:15 pm ET, CBS).
The Cowboys could be without starting quarterback Tony Romo, who has been limited in practice this week after he injured his back in Sunday’s 7-6 win over the Washington Redskins.
Romo said Tuesday he “expects†to play but if he can’t go, back up Jon Kitna would see his first action of the season.
Dallas is a 14-point favorite in NFL Odds.
Oakland and Dallas haven’t met in more than four years, since a 19-13 Raiders’ win on Oct. 2, 2009. Oakland is 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS over the past four meetings.
And the finale has the New York Giants on the road against the Denver Broncos (8:20 pm ET, NFL Network).
New York is a 7-point favorite in NFL Lines.
The Giants and Broncos have a very limited head-to-head history. This is just the third meeting between the teams since 1998. They last squared off on Oct. 23, 2005, a 24-13 New York win as 3-point home favorites.
