NBA Preview: San Antonio Spurs host Portland Trail Blazers
The San Antonio Spurs travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in a clash of Western Conference rivals Thursday (10:30 pm ET, TNT).

The teams have split the past 10 meetings head-to-head (5-5 SU) but Portland has an edge against the spread, going 7-3 ATS.
This is the third meeting of the season between the teams. Portland is 2-0 SU and ATS. They last met on Dec. 23, when the Trail Blazers came away with a 98-94 upset win as 13-point road underdogs. The score went over the total of 187. The last time they met in Portland was Nov. 6, when the Trail Blazers won 96-84 as a 4-point home favorite.
The Spurs’ last game was on Sunday, when they lost 103-89 to the Denver Nuggets as a 5.5-point home favorite. The score went under the total of 197.5.
Portland faced the Utah Jazz on the road Wednesday. Previously, the Trail Blazers picked up a win against the visiting Charlotte Bobcats, dumping the Cats 98-79 as a 2-point home favorite. The score went under the total of 190.
San Antonio is 27-19 SU and 23-22-1 ATS this season. Portland is 29-21 SU and 28-21-1 ATS.
