FIFA World Cup Final: Spain vs. Holland
The 2010 FIFA World Cup draws to a close this weekend with the third-place game on Saturday and the World Cup Final on Sunday.
Uruguay and Germany meet to determine who will finish third and fourth on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa (2:30 pm ET, ABC).
World Cup Odds at Legends sportsbook have Germany as a -140 moneyline favorite and the over/under total at 2.5. Uruguay is a +390 underdog and a draw is +260.
Both teams were narrowly beaten in their semifinal matches. Holland beat Uruguay 3-2 in their semifinal on Tuesday, getting second-half goals from Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben for the win.
And the Spaniards got a perfectly placed header from Carles Puyol in the 73rd minute to beat Germany 1-0 in the second semi on Wednesday.
In the big finale on Sunday at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg (2:30 pm ET, ABC), The Netherlands takes on Spain.
Spain is a +110 favorite and the over/under is 2 in Soccer Betting. Holland is a +260 underdog and a draw is +220.
This will be the third World Cup Final for The Netherlands. The Dutch were beaten by West Germany in the 1974 World Cup title match, and by Argentina in the 1978 game.
Spain will be making its first World Cup Final appearance after qualifying for the tournament 13 times.
