NCAAF Week 12: Saturday’s Big Games
Week 12 of the College Football season offers some great conference matchups for Football Betting fans. Here’s a look at two of them, with NCAA Football Odds available at Legends:
LSU Tigers (+4.5) @ Mississippi Rebels (-4.5) (O/U 42.5)
(Saturday, 3:30 pm ET, CBS)
This game has very little to do with any SEC conference importance, in fact none at all, but I think it’s going to be one hell of a game, and that’s worth something. I’d also like to see all the pre-season hype add up to something with Ole Miss QB, Jevan Snead. The kid has been a disappointment against tough defenses, and this is one of his last chances to shine.
Prior to last season’s 31-13 win over the Tigers, Mississippi had lost 6 straight to the Tigers. However, the Rebels have covered in 7 of the last 8 meetings. Almost always a close contest, this should be a good one.
Oregon Ducks (-6) @ Arizona Wildcats (+6) (O/U 60)
(Saturday, 8:00 pm ET, ABC)
Arizona is one game behind Oregon in the W/L column in the Pac 10 standings. But like Oregon, the Wildcats control their own destiny. The Wildcats beat Stanford and Oregon State earlier this year, and if they take care of the Ducks, that would mean they beat all 3 of their fellow 2-loss Pac-10 teams, thus earning the Championship tie breaker for the top spot. They must also take care of business against UCLA and Arizona State, but Oregon is a big hurdle.
Arizona has taken 2 of the last three from Oregon, including a 37-10 win @ Oregon in 2006 as a two touchdown underdog. However, Oregon has won 8 of their last 10 against the Cats. Oregon is 7-1 ATS in their last 8, 9-1 SU since losing to Boise State to open the season. Arizona has won 3 of their last 4, SU and ATS. Last week, the Cats fell to the Cal Bears.
