Colts try to keep streak rolling against Texans
The undefeated Indianapolis Colts will be aiming for a perfect 11-0 record when they visit AFC South rival Houston Texans on Sunday (1 pm ET, CBS).
The Colts are 3.5-point favorites in NFL Lines at Legends.
Indianapolis has had their way with the Texans straight up, going 9-1 SU in the past 10 meetings, but it’s struggled mightily against the spread, covering just three of those 10 tilts.
The Colts and Texans last squared off just three weeks ago, when the Colts beat the Texans 20-17 but failed to cover as 7.5-point home favorites. The score went under the total of 50.5.
Last week, the Colts moved to 10-0 SU with a 17-15 win over the Baltimore Ravens as a 1.5-point favorite. The score went under the total of 44.5.
And quarterback Matt Schaub was 25-of-39 for 305 yards with two TD passes for Houston in its 20-17 loss to Tennessee Titans in Week 11. Tennessee covered as 4-point road underdogs and the score fell under the 48-point total.
Indianapolis is 10-0 SU, 6-4 ATS while Houston is 5-5 SU, 5-4-1 ATS and has lost two straight.
The total has gone over in eight of the past nine meetings.
