Oregon, Oregon State square off for Pac-10 title

The No. 7 Oregon Ducks host state rival Oregon State Beavers, who are ranked 16th, in the final regular season game for both teams on Thursday (9 pm ET, ESPN).

The winner takes the Pac 10 conference title and earns a berth in the Rose Bowl.

The Ducks are 10-point favorites in NCAA Football Odds.

The conference rivals have played ecah other very evenly over the past 10 meetings, each winning five stratight up and covering the spread five times. They last squared off Nov. 29 last season, when the Ducks blew out the Beavers 65-38, as 1.5-point road underdogs. The Ducks managed to eclipse the over/under total (58.5) on their own.

Beavers quarterback Sean Canfield threw a pair of touchdowns to pace a 42-10 win over Pac 10 rival Washington State Cougars in Week 12.

The Beavers managed to cover the 31-point spread and the score fell under the day’s posted total (56).

And Ducks pivot Jeremiah Masoli ran for the winning touchdown in double overtime to give Oregon a 44-41 win over Arizona in Week 12. Oregon failed to cover the 5.5-point spread and the score went way over the total of 60.

Masoli completed 26-of-45 for 283 yards with three touchdowns, while rushing for 62 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Oregon State is 8-3 SU and 6-4 ATS, and has won four straight games. Oregon is 9-2 SU and 7-4 ATS, and has won two straight games.

Over/under betting fans should note that the total has gone over in all five of the past five meetings.
