49ers hope for more from Gore against Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers will be hoping running back Frank Gore has a repeat performance when they visit the Seattle Seahawks in an NFC West battle on Sunday (4:15 pm ET, FOX).

Gore ran over the Seahawks defense, scoring on two long TD runs and racking up 207 yards, in the 49ers’ 23-10 win on Sept. 20 this season.

The game is a pick’em and the over/under is 41.5 in NFL Lines at Legends.

San Francisco (5-6 SU) is still pushing for an NFC Wildcard playoff position while Seattle (4-7 SU) is pretty much out of the running.

The Seahawks are 6-4 straight up over the past 10 meetings. Both teams have covered the spread five times in those matchups.

On Sunday, the 49ers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-3 as a 3-point home favorite. The score fell under the over/under total of 42.5.

Alex Smith passed for 232 yards with two touchdowns for San Francisco and Vernon Davis caught six passes for 69 yards with a touchdown.

The Seahawks beat another NFC West rival, the St. Louis Rams, 27-17 as a 4-point favorite in Week 12. The score went under the 42.5-point total.

Justin Forsett rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries for Seattle, while Matt Hasselbeck passed for 102 yards in the win.

Over/under bettors should note that the total has gone over in seven of the past 10 meetings.
