Sunday’s Big NFL Games: Week 13

Tennessee Titans (+7) @ Indianapolis Colts (-7)

(1 pm ET, CBS)

Fifty-five per cent of the public likes the Titans in this one, and the way they’ve been playing, and winning, since Vince Young hopped back on the saddle, it’s hard to blame them.

Tennessee is 6-5 ATS on the season, 5-0 SU and ATS in their last 5 games. The Colts are 7-3-1 ATS on the season, and undefeated thus far, 11-0. They are 2-2-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

Indy has played many close games, and that could come back to haunt them. The Titans have struggled with prolific passers, getting beat 90-9 combined against Tom Brady and Peyton so far this year. Can the Titans continue streaking toward the finish and hand the Colts their first loss? This should be a good one.

Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) @ New York Giants (+2.5)

(4:15 pm ET, FOX)

Dallas has definitely stepped up their game late in the season, and the NFC East is there’s if they want it. They’ve won 6 of their last 7 and taken down some talented teams in the process (Philadelphia and Atlanta are two that come to mind). A win here would move them to 9-3 and what would probably amount to one win away from the playoffs.

The Giants have been just as disappointing as the Cowboys have been impressive. Eli’s hot start to the season is colder than the December air, as the Giants can’t get anything going offensively and have lost 5 of their last 6 games. Most recently the Denver Broncos snapped their own 4 game losing streak by blasting the Giants on Thanksgiving Day.

This is a great rivalry, one that has gone back and forth over the years, but New York has won 3 of the last 4, including a 33-31 win in Dallas earlier this year. It’s tough to beat a good team twice, even tougher when you’re playing poorly.
